The CTF Evaluation Project
involves efforts to demonstrate the impact,
outreach, and effectiveness of CTF-funded programs
categorized across nine program types:
- home visiting
- parent
education/support
- fatherhood
- healthy marriage
- respite care
- community awareness
- school-based
- non-school-based/after-school
- mentoring
The primary goal is to
assist both CTF and the programs funded in
demonstrating program impact in reducing the risk
for child maltreatment by documenting changes that
occur in participants’ knowledge base, attitudes,
and skills related to potential risk. Reports of the
evaluation results are produced periodically to
demonstrate the effectiveness of these programs in
making a positive impact in the lives of the
parents, children, and youth served.
